    Certification program structure is defined: MuleSoft described its Associate, Specialist, and Professional levels and framed Developer and Architect as the main role families.

  2. 2018-03-10

    MCD Integration and API Associate launches: MuleSoft introduced the proctored MCD - Integration & API Associate exam and deprecated the older non-proctored version.

  3. 2018-09-20

    Two Level 1 architect certifications debut: MuleSoft launched the Platform Architect and Integration Architect Level 1 paths as separate architect tracks.

  4. 2018-11-06

    Mule 4 Level 1 developer path arrives: MuleSoft released the Mule 4 Level 1 and delta developer exams and kept the Mule 3.8 associate credential valid for its two-year window.

  5. 2019-05-06

    Architect practice quizzes are added: MuleSoft added new practice quizzes for the MCPA and MCIA Level 1 exams.

  6. 2020-04-10

    Training and certification move online: MuleSoft said training courses were online only, certification exams could be taken online, and expiring certifications were extended during COVID-19.

    Developer exam prep article documents the format: The official prep post describes the developer exam as closed book, proctored online or at a testing center, 60 multiple-choice questions, 120 minutes, 70 percent passing, and two-year validity.
